People is about strengthening the skills, confidence, and independence of your team so you are not carrying everything yourself. For many SMEs, the reality is that capability gaps show up just as you start to grow - someone needs to step up, but isn’t quite ready. We help bridge that gap through tailored training, mentoring, and development. It might be a one-off session to fix a specific issue, or a full programme to lift capability across the board. Whatever the format, the goal is the same: to build a team that is confident, capable, and trusted to deliver.

Generic training rarely sticks.
It is often built for corporates, not for SMEs where things move quickly and time is limited. Our approach is different: every session, programme, or mentoring plan is built around your business, your people, and your goals. You work directly with senior mentors who have been there themselves, not off-the-shelf facilitators.
When focused support is needed for individuals, we use our Mentoring Perspective Analysis to identify strengths and gaps, then create a clear development path.

What kind of support do you offer?
People work covers training, mentoring, and tailored development. It might be a one-off workshop to tackle a specific gap, a mentoring programme for individuals, or a wider piece of training to lift capability across the whole team. We also run ticketed events throughout the year, and bring in trusted specialists from our Equipt co-op network where extra expertise is needed.
How do I know it will be relevant to my business?
We do not use generic syllabuses. Everything is designed around your business, your people, and your goals. That means practical content that sticks, not theory that is forgotten as soon as the session ends.
Who delivers the training and mentoring?
You work directly with senior business people and mentors who bring real-world experience.
When extra expertise is needed, we draw on our Equipt co-op network, but delivery and leadership stay with us.
How long does it take?
That depends on what you need. Some gaps can be addressed in a single session, others need a structured programme delivered over weeks or months. We agree timing and format up front so it fits your pace and capacity.
How much does it cost?
Ticketed events start from a few hundred pounds, but tailored People support is a bigger investment. Programmes are priced to reflect the level of senior involvement and delivery needed. We always ask about your budget up front so we can shape the support to fit your resources, and if something is not realistic, we will say so.
What impact should I expect?
The goal is the same each time: more confident, capable people who can carry more of the load. That means less pressure on you as a leader, stronger performance across the team, and skills that stick long after the session ends.
