What is Partnership with Equipt?
It is Fractional Director-level support for when you need senior leadership alongside you. We step in part-time but at a senior level, bringing experience as a Transformation Director, Operations Director, Marketing Director, or Non-Exec. It is not consultancy at arm’s length, it is active involvement in leading and delivering change with you.
Who is it for?
Partnership is designed for CEOs and leadership teams who are facing big moments of change from scaling growth and reshaping culture to restructuring operations or upskilling teams. It is also valuable when you have strong junior teams but need senior direction to guide and steady them.
Clients often turn to Partnership when they have less time as an MD, when they are new in post and need extra support, when they are driving big growth plans or pivots, or when they are competing in fast-moving markets with aggressive competitors.
How long does it last?
The minimum commitment is six months. Big shifts take time, and six months is usually the minimum amount of time you need to build momentum at an affordable price, but we're usually happy to stick around as long as you need us.
How much does it cost?
Partnership starts from £1,500 per month for a half day each week, with a minimum commitment of six months. Most clients choose a fuller level of involvement at around £3,000 per month for one day each week. Costs depend on the level of support you need, but every partnership is scoped clearly up front.
What does it look like week to week?
Typically it means having a senior director 'in the room' with you for half a day to a day each week. We lead projects, guide teams, and make sure delivery stays on track. You get the reassurance of senior firepower without the cost of a permanent hire.
Why would I choose this over project support or a permanent role?
Project support gives you extra hands, but not the senior weight to steer strategy and delivery. Permanent hires add fixed overheads and often stretch budgets. With Partnership you get senior experience for the cost of what many SMEs would usually budget for a junior role. Is Partnership always available?
No. Partnership is our most intensive way of working and we only take on a small number at any one time. We commit deeply, which means availability is limited. We also only partner when we believe in your vision and you believe in ours, so it has to be the right fit on both sides.
