Dover Clamp
In many situations standard connectors are unable
to be attached directly to a suitable anchor point. To overcome
this problem, the Dover Clamp has been developed as a portable anchor
for applications on beams and RSJs providing a safe anchor point
for fall protection equipment.
The Dover Clamp is designed for personal
use, and to work on the top or bottom flange of a steel beam, to
provide a moveable anchor. The clamp enables the user to move freely
as it travels forwards and backwards on nylon rollers along the
beam. Dover Clamps are fitted with a webbing anchor point to which
a lanyard can be fastened and are easy to attach and detach from
the beam.
There are two sizes, one for beam flange widths up
to 380mm, ideal for personal issue, and a larger model to fit flange
widths up to 640mm, designed for use on bridges and large construction
applications.
