The Dover Beam Lifter The beam lifter has been designed so that it can be attached easily to the top flange of a Universal Beam using 2 x 20mm diameter bolts. The product is proof tested to 10 tons and has a safe working load of 5 tons. When attached to the top flange, the hook from a crane is clipped onto the swivel shackle at the top of the product, it is then ready to be hoisted up into the air. Two 90mm cross centre 20mm diameter holes need drilling directly at the centre point of a beam to give a prfect lift prior to beam lifter being attached. When this is achieved this product gives a complete safe and easy method of carrying out hoisted lifts above personells heads' it is impossible to come loose.
